Your personal data will be treated with great care and LLDS is committed to protecting any information that we obtain about you while visiting our website. We may update this policy on occasion so we advise that you check it each time that you submit personal information to us. This page will include the most recent revisions only and the date of revisions will be noted on the policy. If you do not agree to our policy, please do not use our website to submit personal information. Notification of material changes or changes to the use of personal data to this policy will be broadcasted via our website. Any contractual representations made here must not be taken as final and are subject to formal contracts signed by an authorized representative of LLDS.

1. Who we are

LLDS is registered under the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago’s Company Act as Lee Lutchman Design Studio, a sole trader with the Company Registry at the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs.

2. Information gathered and how it is used

Like other websites, the information gathered will be stored as log files on the webserver. This includes your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, referring page, the pages of our site you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. Your visits and attendances to events on our website are logged. This can include your email address and any other personal identifiers that you provide. We also receive data from your device and network, inclusive of location data. 

You are not required to provide any personal information to visit our website. If you choose to provide us with additional information about yourself through an e-mail message, form, survey, etc., this information will not become proprietary to us and will only be maintained as long as it is needed for us to respond to you or fulfill any requests as per your correspondence. If you are subscribed to a newsletter or have a membership account, your information is retained by us to fulfill this purpose until you choose to unsubscribe. This is done to fulfil legal obligations, financial requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, or fulfil requests to “unsubscribe”.

All members of the website who join in the capacity of Consumer are required to provide personal data that includes your name, email address and/or mobile number. Addresses are collected for the purpose of delivery only under specific conditions. Personal data will not be saved unless you give us permission to do so.

This website has been created using Google Sites which collects cookies. Cookies are small digital signature files, often encrypted text files, that are stored by your web browser when you visit some websites. These are used to remember your preferences when visiting those websites. Please note that cookies are not harmful to your computer. 

At any time and at your discretion, you can request that your personal data be deleted from our records, even purchase records. LLDS promises to never disclose, give, sell or transfer any personally identifiable information about our visitors to any third-party unless required to by law or to protect your and our rights and security. Any content that you post or social actions that you take (e.g. likes, comments etc.) on our website or social media platforms are visible to others. LLDS does not share the data collected from our members with third parties unless compelled to do so or in a strictly controlled way. The data would be then shared in these cases with certain Service Providers who work on our behalf for, but not limited to, website management and maintenance. They will have restricted access to this data to perform the necessary tasks on our behalf and are not allowed to disclose or use it for any other purpose. 

4. Security

In an effort to prevent security breaches, we regularly monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and attacks. We may store and use your data outside of your country. We use profiling to target our communications. Profiling refers to a common technique used in direct marketing that involves data analysis to improve targeting of communications. In order to build a profile, we may analyse geographic, demographic and other information that you provide and may also use your previous responses to our marketing campaigns. 

GENERAL

When using our site, you agree to the following stipulations. You will not introduce or attempt to introduce viruses or other contaminants to our site or systems. You will not tamper with the site or our systems in any way. This includes but is not limited to, accessing, altering, de-compiling, reverse engineering or destroying. You will not use or attempt to use the site to tamper with the use of another’s person’s access or their data. You will not obtain unauthorized access to another person’s information that is on our systems. You will not use or attempt to use our site or systems for any unlawful or immoral purposes. If you are in violation of any of these in whole or part, we will suspend or terminate your membership (in whole or part) without any notice.

LLDs will make every effort to keep the site and our systems free from viruses and corrupt files but we do not warrant that the site is free from any virus or contaminants or destructive properties. We recommend that you virus check all information that you receive from us. We shall not be liable for any corrupt information that is part of our correspondence, either from us to you or from you to us.

We shall not be liable for any errors, delays or failures to our systems or processes that are due to circumstances beyond our control such as but not limited to industrial action, fire, flood, explosions, government acts, acts of God, the failure (directly or indirectly) of any power supply, machine, data processing system, data transmission link, survey, telephone link, lack of acceptance of cards or payments at retailers point-of-sale systems/portals.

Our site and the Intellectual Property Rights of LLDS content are owned by us. Certain names, words, images, logos or other identifiers associated with us, its products and services that are featured on the site are protected under copyright and related rights, and the terms of this must be observed. Our work and the work of our collaborators are also protected under copyright and related rights and/or trademarked by them (the terms of this must be observed) and LLDS has obtained permission to use them. In the event that you own any Intellectual Property that appears on the site without your consent (written or verbal), please notify us via our complaints form or at llds.tt.team@gmail.com and we will investigate. 

Images, audio and video files, and articles are available free to view. Guidelines and reports are free to view and download. We allow anyone to access our content electronically without charge. We want to encourage the circulation of our work and/or other collaborators once this circulation does not infringe on copyright and related rights. The work circulated must also appropriately cite LLDS and any collaborator(s) and/or and ensure that the files are not altered and are not resold or used for any commercial purposes. Permission has not been granted for you to save photographs/samples of work just be accessing the site. Permission must be granted by a representative of LLDS.

2. Liability

The site is regularly updated and, as such, we do not warrant that the contents of the site or products and services featured are available at all times or at all. The contents, products and services featured are subject to change at any time without notice. 

You will be liable to us for all (but not limited to) actions, claims, costs, damages, demands, expenses, liabilities, losses and proceedings incurred by us, directly or indirectly, or which are brought against us if you have acted fraudulently, have been negligent, misused/abused the site or breached your agreement with us. 

You are responsible for the accuracy of any and all information you provide to LLDS. We are not liable for any loss or damage you may suffer if your information is inaccurate or incomplete. Our records will be used as conclusive evidence of this. 

3. Miscellany

Each condition included in this policy is separate from all others included. If one of the conditions is found to be void or otherwise unenforceable, it will not affect the validity or enforceability of the other. Should we delay in enforcing any of these rights, this delay does not prevent us from enforcing any of our rights in the future.

Should you choose to use this website or be a member, upon ceasing your use or terminating your membership, any terms and conditions that LLDS has outlined to protect itself and its members will continue to apply once they have the capability to do so. 

LLDS and all attached agreements will be governed by and its terms construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The associated courts of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the Site.
