The Caribbean Home for Illustrators (Chillustrate/CH) was a comfortable space for LLDS to flex its creative chops. As the Creative Director/Lead Designer of CH, I was charged with creating a visual identity from scratch. The lovely thing about CH was that it was more than just a business idea, it was a labour of love, a passion project. CH was meant to be a space that I didn't have when I was younger and the drive to build something meaningful and empowering for young digital artists was at the center of all creative endeavours. Hurricane Season was CH's inaugural exhbition. Branding it was a lot of fun and an honest challenge. The challenge cameĀ not from creating the visuals but from understanding exactly what was needed for the project and how each of the design objects would be disseminated and engaged with.
